Our New Homes and Land Consultant will be a highly motivated individual whose objective is to identify potential land and development opportunities to be provided for new build developers, using technology which is specifically provided for the purpose. Initially the role will be desk based but will progress to conducting physical site visits across Yorkshire and North West of England. The aim is to provide a respected presence in the Land & New Homes sector and recognised by the individual brands and as the Northern Estate Agencies Group.

Industry experience although desirable, is not essential as training will be given. We are looking for candidates who can evidence previous experience in a busy customer focused environment. The successful applicant will need to have a high degree of self-motivation, strong verbal and written communication skills, along with an eye for detail, quality and accuracy.

You must hold a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle which must be insured for business use as regular travel across the North West of England will be required. Business mileage can be claimed.

Job Description

  • Identifying potential land and development opportunities for new build developers.
  • Monitoring and recording detailed planning application records obtained from Planning Portals and Land Technology sites.
  • Gather data and carry out research via various databases to ascertain land or development owner’s / key stakeholders.
  • Produce and send relevant prospecting / enquiry documentation to land or development owners / key stakeholders.
  • Carry out physical site visits to establish the status of a site and accurately document
  • Progression to conduct physical site visits to establish the status of a site and accurately document.
  • Record and maintain detailed and accurate database of land and development opportunities.
  • Using multiple databases to ascertain information from land registry, companies house and our internal land sourcing tools.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reports of potential sites for consideration.
  • Communicate with all owners and key stakeholder’s occupiers to establish interest and ensuring that all correspondence is recorded consistently and accurately.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for land / site owner meetings.
  • Attend weekly / monthly meetings with team as appropriate to deliver overview of current activity.
